Job Duties:
We are looking for an individual with good overall knowledge of various foods and previous food preparation and cook experience in a retail or restaurant kitchen setting. The applicant must be able to follow recipes, learn and memorize a considerable amount of information, work in an environment that can at times be very fast paced and be able to multi-task. Good organizational, customer service and teamwork skills are essential.
Pay range is $16.50 to $20.50 per hour and will be determined on applicable prior work experience.

Requirements:
Must have previous food handling, preparation, production and cooking work experience, preferably in a commercial kitchen setting.
Must be able to read and follow established company recipes, preparation and presentation procedures.
Must have reliable transportation to get to work.
Must enjoy working with customers, food and follow all safe food handling procedures.
Must follow established safety policies and procedures.
Repetitive bending, reaching and grasping, including power grasping required.
Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods.
Must be able to operate equipment such as knives, stoves, fryers, ovens, mixers and meat slicers.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must obtain a County Food Worker Card upon hiring.
Vision requirements for this position include close vision.
